Paperback.  1971  1st. First printing of 450 numbered copies of which this is number 267. There was also a deluxe edition of 50 published concurrently. 76 pp., illustrations by Bryon Gysin, layout by Henri Chopin, in decorated white covers. Text is in English pp.1-39, followed by Chopin’s translation into French from pp. 40-75. No owner’s marks.  Some age-darkening and small soil spots to the white covers, small 1cm tear to top of front cover otherwise very good condition. William S. Burroughs was a primary figure of the Beat Generation and a major postmodernist author, he is considered to be “one of the most politically trenchant, culturally influential, and innovative artists of the 20th century”.
